Stops on the way to Wellington.. We stopped in Levin on a blueberry farm, where you can pick your own blueberries! We bought blueberries in The shop instead cause we wanted to save some time.... Did another stop, in Paraparaumu... For coffeee and snack break! We found a RAW FOOD CAFE and I had a vegan ICE cream (haha starts to sound like I'm vegan now, but I'm not... I just like the idea of giving the body healthy unprocessed food... But I don't want to live without my meat ;) ) Paraparaumu has a long beautiful beach and some cute cafes. Good stop for coffee break. Just have to write something about this "VEGAN ICE cream"... So delicious, so healthy and without processed sugar and trans fat!Why do not more parents choose to give there kids the "better options of sweets and treats?" This ICE cream is made of banana, blueberries and rasberries... Still sugar, but natural sugar. It hurts in me to see all the unhealthy, overweight kids who are struggeling to play in the playground eating unhealthy food... I'm not saying that kids shouldn't eat ICE cream, OF COURSE they should! But maybe not EVERY DAY.... It's always about finding a balance. We have so many health problem caused by choosing the "wrong" type of food. My question is why people still choose this?We have so much knowledge today, we know what it does to our bodies and we know that eating the "wrong type of food" are occuring diseases and LOTs of health issues. If your answer to my question is that It's expensive to eat healthy...... Please think again. Life is about priorities.Isn't yours and your families health what matters? And btw. This ice cream cost 5 dollars and the same amount of ice cream in the shop next door was 6 dollars.... Just sayin' 40 min to Wellington! 😀 #breakitandyouwillmakeit
