<div>I don't really know what just happened... But I just register to <em><strong>Crossfit Open...</strong></em></div> <div>What a surprise hey! haha</div> <div> </div> <div>I love <em><strong>competing</strong></em>, and it is one of the things I miss the most after my <em>accident</em>.</div> <div>But that I would compete in crossfit was not really planned. </div> <div> </div> <div>I guess I have started to like being more <strong><em>spontanous</em></strong>. </div> <div>It is so not me. </div> <div><em>But I kind of enjoy it. </em></div> <div> </div> <div>I used to plan everything, in detail. <br />I remember I felt that I needed to, to be able to fit everything in... I wanted to plan so I could <em><strong>optimize</strong></em> my time. </div> <div> </div> <div>Especially when I was an elite athlete, planning was a MOST for me. </div> <div>I wanted to become the BEST I could be, so I wanted to use the time wisely.</div> <div><em>I was structured, ambitious, focused and determined. </em></div> <div> </div> <div><em><strong>I was a competitive person and will always be. </strong>It is part of my personality. </em></div> <div>When I was competing I was never focusing on my competitors, I wasn't competing against everyone else, I was competing against <em><strong>myself</strong></em>. <br />Everytime I trained I wanted to beat myself... Every training I was aiming to do something better than last time... I always wanted to imrpoved something in my training, and when I did, I <em><strong>won</strong></em>...<br />It made me better. and that meant I needed to be even better next time.</div> <div> </div> <div>I don't like when people get too obsessed with the people they are competing against.</div> <div>Comparing scores, skills, strength... well it can be good to have in mind at what level everyone else is... </div> <div>But in the end, the only thing that matter is how good YOU are, and how PREPARED you are. </div> <div> </div> <div>If you focus too much time on the others and how they are doing.... you have less time for your own training. </div> <div> </div> <div><em><strong>Focus on you, work hard and be the best you can be... and I promise you that you will do well! </strong></em></div> <div> </div> <div> <div> </div> <div> </div> </div> <div> </div> <div>I don't know why I started to write about this, but I guess I want to say:<br /><strong><em>DON'T compare yourself with everyone else!</em></strong></div> <div><strong><em>Focus on You.</em></strong> </div> <div> </div> <div>This is something I really need to do now during this competition I am about to participate in. <br />I have noone else than myself to compete against. I am doing this for me. <br />I am only competing cause I want to have the experience. I don't have any expectations at all... <strong><em>other than having fun and enjoying the feeling of being able to compete again!</em></strong></div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>#<strong><em>breakitandyouwillmakeit</em></strong></div>
