When you are sore everywhere, The best thing you can do is to MOVE. Get the bloodflow going and get rid of the waste products in your body. You don't have to do a heavy session, a slow recovery jog or powerwalk can be enough! Use the foamroller, resistance band and tennisball to do some mobility work and massage your sore spots... get rid of the trigger points. That's what I ALWAYS do when I'm sore, and it helps me so much. Mobility exercises has a great effect on the body.
