They are keep challenging us here at TAFE, Sunshine Coast... (And I just love it!)Next challenge that starts this term is to train an Elite Athlete, to get the experience and be prepared for the "real pt-life". My challenge is to train a high level golfer... He use to be a professional golfer, top 10 in Australia...touring around the World for comps. He got injured, and now he wants me to help him get back into shape and compete again!! I'm so excited for this challenge. And it sure is a challenge for me, because I'm not a golfer.. But I love learning and have spend countless of hours for research😃~Last week I had the first meeting with my athlete, we did the screening, medical history, injuries, postural testings, strength tests, mobility/flexibility, nutrition analysis and all that. Today we had the first training session and I really enjoyed it! I have definitely got a good client! I'm happy I said YES to this challenge when my teacher asked me a couple of weeks ago..I wasn't sure at first... Because of the lack of experience as a golfer!! My teacher convinced me by saying: "Eli you may not be a good golfer, but you are a damn good trainer!! And I want him to have one of the best" It was great to do something different as well and the feedback I got during and after the session was just the top of it all. So what do I want to say with this? PLEASE challenge yourself!! It might feel scary in the beginning, because you're not use to it or have never done anything like that before.. but please do it anyway, CHALLENGE yourself. Push your boundaries.BREAK your limits. You will be thankful after. BREAK IT and you will MAKE IT #breakitandyouwillmakeit
